Dr. Argina Haghverdian, OD
Dr. Haghverdian has been a dedicated member of the optometric community in the San Fernando Valley since 2006. Her passion for optometry began while working as an optometric assistant in the front office of a private practice in Burbank, CA.
After receiving a Bachelor of Arts from California State University Northridge, Cum Laude, she further pursued her passion and received her Doctorate of Optometry from Southern California College of Optometry with Cum Laude honors.
For the past 14 years, Dr. Haghverdian has worked her way through the various levels of care with patients. It is her extensive background that gives her the passion for health, well-being, and overall happiness of her patient's eyes. She is now ready to share her wealth of knowledge in her brand-new office!
Dr. Haghverdian takes tremendous pride in providing her patients with the highest level of care, whether she is writing a prescription, treating a medical condition or referring patients for a surgical consult. She chooses to work with only the most experienced surgeons who use state-of-art technology. Dr. Haghverdian has co-managed patient care of surgical procedures and has advised many of her valued patients for a variety of procedures and treatment options. She enjoys educating her patients on refractive surgery and assisting first-hand the benefits it provides whether it is a lifestyle choice or for convenience.
Furthermore, Dr. Haghverdian provides internship opportunities to current optometry school students as well as mentorship to undergraduate students who share the same passion for optometry as she does!
The doctor lives with the moto that “impossible is nothing” and that anything can be achieved with passion, dedication, and hard work. She had her daughter during her third year of her optometry school, persevered to graduate with her class, and managed to do so with honors. Now, for 4 months after giving birth to her second child, she has bravely taken on the venture of opening her own practice and could not be happier because impossible is truly nothing when you put your mind to it.
